Whenever someone talks about Agriculture in Maharashtra, Mr.Prabhakar Deshmukh is remembered a lot for the same. His contributions to this
filed have been immense and ongoing. Mr. Prabhakar Deshmukh, is currently the Secretary
of Water Conservation, E.G.S. since September, 2014. Before this, Mr. Prabhakar
was serving the state of Maharashtra as the Divisional Commissioner of Pune.
During his tenure, he has done a lot for the city. He served as the
commissioner who was one of the first officials to go visit a school and check
its functionalities. This was a one-of-a-kind move from Mr. Prabhakar Deshmukh
along with many other officials.
